Some people eat to live while other’s live to eat. Most people are a mix of the two, like me (although many people become to feel so out of control around food they think they are the latter). I thought this too at one point, which is why I made food my life by studying it, growing it, cooking it, and using it to build my body while eating a lot of it (….and at certain parts of my life, not so much of it).
